Upcoming Events

Family Time - We have scheduled an evening of family time on October 12th from 5-6pm. The kids will be carving pumpkins.

Caring Day - Community Caring Day will be October 18th. Meet at the church at 9am. See Jean Lawless for more information.

Blood Drive - The Blood Mobile will be available at the church Sunday, November 2. Watch for the sign-up sheet at church.

Refuge News

Volunteers for Children's Church Refreshments -- Snack and drinks are available for you to use in the storage room off the kitchen, or if you would like to make something special, that would be great too! All you would need to do is count the children and place their snacks and drinks on trays in the Pre K (Ark) room by 10:35am. There is a sign up sheet on the table in the Fellowship Hall. If you have any questions, please see Sharon Cook.

Children's Christmas Play -- This year Refuge will be putting on a Christmas musical. I know it feels early to begin thinking about Christmas, but we wanted to make sure you reserved the dates so that you can participate. The weekend of December 6th and 7th kids from pre-school up through High School will be presenting "Getting Ready for the Miracle". Mark it on your calendars, practice begins soon!

Wednesday Night Bible Study -- Our Adult Bible Study meets Wednesday evenings at various homes and locations on a rotating basis. Please see Liz Krom or Vicki Jackson for a schedule.

Refuge Meal Angels -- If you would be interested in having a meal delivered to you following release from hospitalization, surgery, or illness, the Meal Angels of Refuge will be happy to oblige. Call Toni Wade at 773-5250 or 776-7225 if you would like a meal brought to you or know someone who would. There will be a sign-up sheet for ladies and gentlemen interested in preparing and/or delivering meals.
